EXELTECH ALARM CONFIGURATION TOOL LICENSE AGREEMENT Copyright (c) 2026 Exeltech. All rights reserved. Read this agreement before downloading or using the Exeltech Alarm Configuration Tool (the "Tool"). By downloading, copying or using the Tool you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not download or use the Tool. 1. Exeltech customers only, free of charge The Tool is for Exeltech's customers: the owners and operators of Exeltech power systems, and those who install or service those systems for them. If you are one of them, Exeltech grants you a non-exclusive license, at no cost, to use the Tool on any number of your computers to configure the alarms of those Exeltech power systems: which conditions raise each system's Alarm 1 and Alarm 2, and on KC systems the module slots and cages the system has. If you are not an Exeltech customer, this agreement grants you no right to use the Tool. 2. Copying and distribution You may copy the Tool for use by you and your organization. You may not sell, rent, lease or distribute it to anyone else, or charge for it. Others can download it from Exeltech. 3. Restrictions You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Tool, except where applicable law expressly allows it despite this restriction. You may not remove or change its copyright notices or this agreement. 4. Ownership The Tool is licensed, not sold. Exeltech keeps all rights in the Tool that this agreement does not expressly grant you. 5. Privacy Exeltech does not collect any information through the Tool. The Tool sends nothing about you, your computer, your systems or how you use it to Exeltech or anyone else. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no update checks and no user accounts. The Tool communicates only with the Exeltech systems on your network. It searches the local network for them (UDP port 6006), and reads and configures their alarms (Modbus TCP port 502). What it reads stays on your computer, and it stores its files only on your computer: formats.ini, the device formats, and instance.ini, the devices you have connected to, in the folder that holds ConfigurationTool.exe. Its demo mode uses a temporary folder instead, and removes it when it closes. Its User Guide button copies the guide, which is built into the Tool, to a temporary file and opens it in your PDF viewer. 6. Changes to your systems The Tool changes the alarm configuration of the Exeltech systems it connects to. A wrong setting can keep a system from raising an alarm it should raise. You are responsible for the changes you make with it, and for checking afterwards that each system's alarms work as intended. 7. No warranty The Tool is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Exeltech does not warrant that the Tool is free of errors or that it will run without interruption. 8. Limitation of liability To the extent permitted by law, Exeltech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profit, arising from the use of the Tool or the inability to use it, even if Exeltech was told such damages were possible. In no event is Exeltech liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the use of the Tool. 9. Termination This license ends automatically if you do not comply with it. When it ends, you must stop using the Tool and delete it. 10. Third-party software The Tool includes the following software from others. Each part is licensed to you under its own license, not under this agreement, and nothing in this agreement limits your rights under those licenses. - The .NET 10 runtime and Windows Forms, by Microsoft and the .NET Foundation, under the MIT License. https://dotnet.microsoft.com The MIT License's text is at https://opensource.org/license/mit. 11.
